Advice

The Welfare Benefits Unit provides advice through its Advice Line, Forum and consultancy.

The Advice Line and Forum are available for those working with members of the public in North Yorkshire and York.

The Welfare Benefits Unit run projects and continue to seek funding to extend the work that we do. We proactively identify new opportunities to work in collaboration with our colleagues and partners to work to ensure that people are aware of the support available within the benefits system and able to access the benefits they are entitled to. We do not have any projects running currently.

Members of the public can access a number of online resources – find out more. You can also get advice from local advice agencies such as Citizens Advice, carers centres and Age UK.
