The Welfare Benefits Unit publishes The Advisers Guide to Benefits and Tax Credits. This compact handbook provides information on the main conditions of entitlement, rates and how to claim.

The Welfare Benefits Unit also publishes two booklets for members of the public in North Yorkshire:

These are widely distributed via Adult and Community Services departments, Citizens Advice Bureaux, doctors' surgeries, libraries and voluntary agencies.

Bulletin

The Welfare Benefits Unit Bulletin is published quarterly and is sent to subscribers. It contains information on new benefits and tax credits, updates on changes to benefits and items of general interest. If you would like to join our mailing list please contact us on admin@welfare-benefits-unit.org.uk
